Our History

The Oaks School started in 2018 with a group of about 80 students. With a background in business and ministry, Josh and Ginger Hallmark gathered a group of families that wanted a new educational option for their children. In our second year, we grew to over 100 students and received full accreditation through Cognia (formerly SACS) the Alabama Independent School Association. 

The Oaks School is committed to building a culture that challenges students and teachers to grow and thrive in all that they are called to be. The Oaks' enrollment has grown by 46% in our first five years. We are excited about the days ahead!
